Think About Your Purpose (Why do you want this book?)
Read the Table of Contents (Table of Contents will give you an idea of what will come in each chapter or section of the book.)
Picture Walk (Go through the pages, look at the pictures to see if they look interesting to you.)
Read the Inside Flap (Will tell information about the Author, or summarize the story)
Use the 5 Finger Test (5 fingers up, pick a page, read the page, every wrong word put a finger down. If all five fingers are up then it may be to easy or a perfect fit. 2-3 fingers down may be a little hard or a bit of a challenge. 4-5 fingers down find another book!)
