About Us

Renville County West consists of three communities: Renville, Sacred Heart and Danube. Our three communities are located on State Highway 212. The agricultural industry is a great part of what makes up our communities' economic base.  In addition, local entrepreneurs have contributed to establishing vital communities that support their school.  

Being part of a K-12 building has allowed us to create K-12 partnerships with students and staff.  We encourage cross grade level learning opportunities. At Renville County West Elementary, we provide exceptional educational opportunities for our students. The implementation of Rti (Response to Intervention), The Daily Five, and Social Emotional Learning are indicative of the district's committment to teaching to individual student's needs and learning styles. Our goal at RCW Elementary is to provide high level, engaging instruction across the curriculum which creates a love of learning and as such motivates students in the learning process.
