Meet the Teacher
Degrees and Certifications:
Hello, I am David Mc Gill, I have been teachering here at RCW for 28years. I started teaching industrial art and PE at the middle school in Danube. I now only teach PE K-12.
COURSE OBJECTIVES: RCW PE courses aim to provide opportunities for the individual and the group to learn activities that are invigorating, developmental, educational, and will lead to positive physical, social, mental, and emotional growth. Students will have a mixture of team and individual activities, as well as, fitness testing.
UNITS COVERED:(not all units covered in the school year) (E) = elementary units
Bean Bag Toss
Flag Football (E)
Fitness testing (E)
Manipulative games (E)
Non-manipulative games (E)
Volleyball (E) & 4 square volleyball
Grades will be determined by participation, attitude, cooperation, written tests, and skill test. Make up work will be required. Demerit points will be deducted at the end of every quarter from the student’s grade to come up with the quarter grade.
EXPECTATIONS: Students are expected to participate in all activities and maintain physical fitness throughout the school year. Safety and good sportsmanship will be observed at all times.

PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT SUGGESTIONS: Encourage your child to be physically active and spend time outside doing activates to maintain and/or enhance their overall fitness.
