• RCW‌ ‌Summer‌ ‌Extended‌ ‌Learning‌ ‌Outline‌ ‌for‌ ‌2020‌ ‌ ‌ELEMENTARY‌ ‌current‌ ‌grades‌ ‌K-4-‌ ‌Jun‌ ‌1‌ ‌-‌ ‌30th‌ ‌(‌ ‌M-Th.)‌ 
    ● We will conduct‌ ‌Elementary‌ ‌Primary‌ ‌gr.‌ ‌1-4‌ programming ‌in‌ ‌a‌ ‌hybrid‌ ‌Manner.‌ ‌Start‌ ‌time‌ ‌will‌ ‌be‌ ‌at‌ ‌9:00‌ ‌AM‌ ‌sharp.‌ ‌Students‌ ‌will‌ 
    have‌ ‌direct‌ ‌instruction‌ ‌in‌ ‌the‌ ‌core‌ ‌areas‌ ‌of‌ ‌Reading‌ ‌and‌ ‌Math‌ ‌each‌ ‌day‌ ‌with‌ ‌individualized‌ 
    programming‌ ‌specific‌ ‌to‌ ‌their‌ ‌diagnostic‌ ‌assessment‌ ‌findings.‌ ‌Students‌ ‌will‌ ‌also‌ ‌have‌ ‌weekly‌ 
    instruction‌ ‌to‌ ‌support‌ ‌creative‌ ‌application‌ ‌of‌ ‌content‌ ‌with‌ ‌STEAM‌ ‌lessons‌ ‌or‌ ‌instruction‌ ‌to‌ ‌develop‌ 
    and‌ ‌enhance‌ ‌Social‌ ‌Emotional‌ ‌Learning‌ ‌(SEL).‌  ‌Hybrid models are based on MDE guidelines of a target number of 6 per class with no more than 10.
    Students‌ currently ‌in‌ ‌K-3‌ ‌‌who‌ ‌are‌ ‌referred‌ ‌to‌ ‌participate‌ ‌in‌ ‌extended‌ ‌learning‌ ‌opportunities‌ ‌will‌ ‌be‌ ‌using‌ ‌a‌ 
    hybrid‌ ‌model‌ ‌based‌ ‌on‌ ‌4‌ ‌mornings‌ ‌a‌ ‌week‌ ‌with‌ ‌3‌ ‌being‌ ‌in‌ ‌house‌ ‌and‌ ‌1‌ ‌being‌ ‌distance‌ ‌learning.‌ 
    Groups‌ ‌will‌ ‌meet‌ ‌from‌ ‌9:00‌ ‌-‌ ‌11:30‌ ‌AM‌ ‌-‌ ‌Parents‌ ‌will‌ ‌need‌ ‌to‌ ‌transport,‌ ‌or‌ ‌a‌ ‌hybrid‌ ‌approach‌ ‌can‌ 
    be‌ ‌made‌ ‌for‌ ‌those‌ ‌who‌ ‌absolutely‌ ‌can't‌ ‌bring‌ ‌in‌ ‌their‌ ‌child.‌ ‌In‌ ‌the‌ ‌event‌ ‌that‌ ‌there‌ ‌is‌ ‌an‌ ‌uptick‌ ‌in‌ 
    the‌ ‌number‌ ‌of‌ ‌COVID‌ ‌Cases‌ ‌and‌ ‌we‌ ‌need‌ ‌to‌ ‌return‌ ‌to‌ ‌a‌ ‌Stay‌ ‌in‌ ‌Place‌ ‌status,‌ ‌students‌ ‌will‌ ‌be‌

    recovery‌ ‌the‌ ‌month‌ ‌of‌ ‌June.‌ ‌Students‌ ‌who‌ ‌need‌ ‌some‌ ‌additional‌ ‌support/skill‌ ‌practice‌ ‌have‌ ‌also‌ 
    been‌ ‌referred‌ ‌to‌ ‌the‌ ‌June‌ ‌session.‌‌ ‌.‌

    (Remediation‌ ‌Phase‌ ‌-‌ ‌‌Includes‌ ‌credit‌ ‌recovery‌ ‌and‌ ‌skill‌ ‌development‌)‌ ‌-‌ ‌Students‌ ‌needing‌ ‌ongoing‌
