I am a 2016 RCW graduate and have had the opportunity to work as a paraprofessional here, the past two years. Prior to my journey at RCW, I taught 3-4th English Language Arts amongst many other classes at a private school in Vesta. I am excited to return this year as a student teacher fulfilling my experience as the second grade-lead teacher. I live on a farm south of Sacred Heart, with my boyfriend Jon and our dog Milo. Outside of school, I enjoy helping around the farm, gardening, and reading. I am so excited to learn with you all!
My goal as the 2B teacher, is to create a positive learning environment - one where we hold each other accountable. Each student is a leader and will be held to high expectations. We will learn, grow, laugh, and make mistakes. Second grade is such a wonderful journey, and I cannot wait to get started!
Mrs. Rosen
After 15 years of teaching, I am very excited to be teaching 2nd grade for year #10 at RCW! As an alumni of RCW it is a great joy and honor to be teaching in my hometown. After my husband and I got married in 2006 we moved up to Alaska where I taught for 6 years. We loved it up there and had 3 children while away, but the pull to be near our family was too great. When the opportunity arose to move "home" we took it. We have spent the last 9 years raising our kids in this great community and I am honored to serve it in the capacity with which I have been afforded.
It is my hope that when students leave my classroom that my influence doesn't end; that they continue to "choose joy" and come back and visit me. Thank you for the privilege of serving your children!
